Better Chocolate Chip Cookies
This recipe came from a neighborhood cook book. These cookies stay soft when not over cooked.
Cream Butter and Sugars
| 1 | c | butter, softened |
| 1 | c | Sugar |
| 1 | c | Sugar - Brown |
Add to the mix
| 2 | egg | |
| 1 | tsp | Vanilla |
Add dry ingredients to the mix
| 2 | c | All-Purpose Flour |
| 2 1/2 | c | Oatmeal |
| 1/2 | tsp | Salt |
| 1 | tsp | Baking Powder |
| 1 | tsp | Baking Soda |
Measure Oatmeal unblended, then blend in a blender until flour consistency.
Add Chocolate Chips
| 12 | oz | chocolate chips |
Bake at 350 for 8 minutes. Move to a cooling rack after they are cooled enough to retain their shape.
